Hispanic Republican Assembly of Minnesota
Winter Season 2019 Networking Meeting
- Wednesday, February 6, 2019
- Burger Moe’s on West 7th Saint Paul
- 6pm to 8:30pm
It’s the day before the election and our last chance to get our candidate names infront of the public. It’s amazing how in some races, the name recognition is still low. Congressional District 3 have been doing this over interstate 394 at least once or twice a week now and I felt it’s time to join in the fun.
So…. grab a candidate sign or two from your yards or a campaign office that still has signs and come to the pedestrian bridge over I94 at the intersection of Dale and Concordia Ave or Dale and Saint Anthony Ave W. Park on Concordia Ave or Saint Anthony Ave W. You can also park at the Rondo Community Center and Library and walk up to the intersection.
The intersection of Dale and 94 is one of the busier on and off ramps in Saint Paul for Interstate 94. Not to mention, many traveling east bound during rush hour are traveling to the eastern or north eastern (35E N) side of Congressional District 4 or about to exit to go south on 35E making their way to Congressional District 2. Those traveling west bound are leaving Saint Paul to go back home to western side of Congressional District 4 or further on to Congressional District 5 or Congressional Distric 3.
Let’s take a brief break from GOTV phone calling and show the Democrats in the surrounding neighborhoods of this intersection, “We (GOP) Do Exist” and we support our Republican Nominees on the ballet. Then, return to the phones for our candidates to GOTV in the final hours before Election day, November 6th. I will have a couple folding chairs for anyone unable to stand for long periods of time.
We may even have a special appearance by Lucky Rosenbloom! The son of legendary small business owner and part of Saint Paul’s Rondo Community history, Tiger Rosenbloom.
Rules…… very important to follow the law.
1. We can not block traffic or impede traffic from flowing. if you choose to stand at the intersection, stand on one of the four corners, up on the curb.
2. We can’t prevent pedestrians from crossing the bridge. Keep personal belongings and signs close to the sides so people can pass freely.
3… not a state law… but a Jeff Johnson and other campaign’s PREFERRED BEST PRACTICE… don’t engage with people trying to bait you with an argument or respond back negatively if you receive inappropriate words or hand gestures. Don’t engage with anyone trying to get you into an argumentitive debate. If someone civilly approaches wanting to have a calm conversation, answer their questions and have a MN nice dialogue. Remember… anybody from anywhere could be recording or taking pictures. KEEP IT POSITIVE!

He will always stand firm with Minnesota families, farmers, and small businesses.
Doug Wardlow, running as a Republican to be Minnesota’s next Attorney General, is a Minnesota-values conservative.
Doug values faith, family, and hard work. Doug is a family-man. Doug and Jenny Wardlow have three young children. His father was a U.S. Marine, and then a math teacher. Doug’s father and mother passed their values on to their son: Doug went to Georgetown Law – one of the nation’s most prestigious law schools – and graduated with honors.
As your Attorney General, Doug will be tough on crime and stand up for the rule of law. The Democrats have controlled the Office of Attorney General for 50 years. During the last 10 years, things have gotten especially bad. The part of the office meant to back up County Attorneys’ criminal prosecutions has been thinned. The part of the office that favors Democrats’ special-interests has expanded.
And during the Democrats’ control, massive welfare fraud has been completely ignored. Currently, millions of Minnesotan tax-dollars are being siphoned off by daycares that are billing for children not under their care. The fraud could be up to $100 million per year, or half of the entire childcare benefit program. State bureaucrats doubt the number is this high, but they also admit that they do not know the full extent of the problem.
One of the things the Attorney General is specifically tasked to do under Minnesota law is to prosecute welfare fraud. But Keith Ellison and Matt Pelikan, the two Democrats vying to run against Doug in November, have vowed not to investigate. Ellison went so far as to say that Fox 9, which broke the story, should retract its report. Ellison – a far left extremist – has no evidence as to why the report was false.
It gets worse. A good chunk of this stolen millions of your taxpayer dollars is being shipped off to Somalia, where at least some of it is being given to al Shabaab, a terror group affiliated with al-Qaeda that is in direct combat with American soldiers. Why won’t the Democrats do anything about this?
All this should tell you that the Democrats won’t stand up for the rule of law, for public safety, or for ordinary Minnesotans. But Doug Wardlow will.
Aside from being tough on crime, Doug will also stand up for Minnesotan businesses and Minnesotan families. As Attorney General, Doug will challenge illegal regulations that don’t match up with the laws written by the legislature. He will back up the legislature when it passes school choice legislation, legislation that protects life, and legislation that empowers Minnesota’s businesses. Here’s Doug’s Promise to Minnesota: He will always stand firm with Minnesota families, farmers, and small businesses.
