Mark Born is the endorsed Republican for MN House District 66A. His opponent is the author of the gender affirming care law and the Tampons in the Boys Bathrooms in Public Schools bill, Rep Leigh Finke.  Mark Born’s website is MarkBornforMN.com

In the 2024 LWV Forum for HD 66A & 66B, the video and the audio did not match and it was like watching Kung Fu Theater with dubbed audio. This is a new event in St Paul.  This is good news being that many regular events have been canceled since Mayor Carter was elected. Rice Street Parade, White Bear Avenue Parade, and other events in St Paul. Though the organizers seemed reluctant to offer a booth for Republicans in St Paul and thus we just heard CD4 GOP was going to have a booth there this week. On one of the information pages, the event organizers, Creative Hearts MN, mention that it is a “curated event.”

What is Godtown?

In their words what is Godtown:

Our mission is to create a safe-sober community and events for young adults.

On a Mission to fight urban blight and bless communities through residential and spiritual reclamation.

The first vision of this project was unique: purchase an abandoned house in the challenged Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul and transform it into a home that serves as a Community Mission Base. Add a Community Garden and you have a natural magnet for outreach, bringing hope to area residents.

Jen & John Tolo started up a Mission in the Frogtown neighborhood called Frogtown Community House. It has become Godtown.

The project has multiplied to seven properties and five houses. These homes will provide residence for urban missionaries committed to neighborhood transformation.

We have daily opportunities in our Urban Mission Training Program for individuals and groups to participate in volunteer work and neighborhood outreach projects. Come on over and visit us!
